Metamorphosis by Erin Noelle (Read on 2/09/13)
THIS BOOK WAS EXCELLENT!!!!! Put down whatever you are reading and pick this up! You won’t regret it! Gosh! I don’t even know where to start. I assume there will be a next book and I am sure it will be amazing as well! I loved all of the references to other books that have come out recently that those who are truly obsessed with this genre will definitely recognize and appreciate. Evie was an absolute spitfire. Hilarious and Raw at every turn. Sams journey was so easy to relate too. I hope the next book highlights more of that for us. If you want to read a story about growth and finding oneself, as well as the struggle that everyone has to go through to find what we all ultimately want… true and unconditional love, then this is the book for you!!! It throws out all of the preconceived notions about what is right and wrong. At its core it gets down to the difference between following your heart, allowing yourself to make mistakes, and most importantly forgiving yourself for said mistakes in an effort to make the next step; to change and reach for a goal. It also highlights how so many live a life based off of the pressure from and expectations of others whether that be parents, friends, or society in general – and it shows how the most important person that we have to live for is ourselves because no one else has to live with the joys or the consequences of the choices that we make in our lives but us. AWESOME!!!!!
