Kaleidoscope Hearts is the story about Elle a somewhat newly single woman whose fiance dies in an accident. When we come into the story Elle has had some time to process her feelings and is doing her best to move forward with her life.

Oliver or Bean is the best friend of Elle’s big brother. He’s always known and been told that his best friends sister is off limits… but when she comes back into their lives he has come to a point in his life where he recognizes that if he doesn’t try to do something about that now then he may never have the opportunity again.

Kaleidoscope Hearts takes us on a journey through Elle & Oliver’s complicated past and blends it effortlessly with their just as complicated present.

This audiobook was narrated by Christy Romano and Vikas Adam. I enjoyed Christy Romano but honestly found Vikas Adam to sound somewhat robotic and too “growly” at times. I did enjoy having both a female and male narrator and I think that overall they both did a great job with conveying the emotions that the characters were experiencing.

I absolutely loved when Christy said “I dunno” I found myself laughing out loud no matter where I was.
