ARC Review: Fighting for Forever by JB Salsbury

Fighting For Forever is the story of Mason and Trix. This is book 6 in the fighting series and not necessarily my favorite. I enjoyed it more than I liked Fighting the Fall but only give it 3.5 to 3.75 coffee beans.

There were aspects of the story that felt really dramatic and somewhat predictable. I also found for the first quarter of the book I really did not like Mason’s character. I thought that I would have the least amount of like for Trix but in the end she ended up being one of the brightest spots of the book.

I highly enjoyed the hot sex in this one. It was burn the pages up smoking hot. I also enjoyed getting to see some of our favorite peeps. That was great. I really enjoyed learning about where Trix came from and what drives her.

I was somewhat surprised by how much she wanted to hold on to her original plan and Mason’s ability to “let” her. That seemed like it would be really counter to the character he showed himself to be previously.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and I am most definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.
