He is the only man that has shown her another form of treatment that didn’t include pain. Elder Prest is just as intrigued by her as she is by him. He slowly becomes obsessed with her and wants her for himself.

This book was so crazy. There was a warning in the beginning of this book, but I was like, “Yeah, yeah, I got it. I’ve read Pepper Winter’s other books, so I should be fine.” I was so wrong. This one made me cringe so hard at all the horrible dark things that occurred. My emotions were all over the place. My heart hurt so deeply for Pimlico. I just wanted her to finally escape from the horrible nightmare she lived daily. I wanted Elder to help her. I wanted Master A to pay for everything he ever did to Pimlico. I was biting my nails the whole time waiting to see what would happen next. Of course, it ended with a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I loved Elder Prest, so I can’t wait to find out more about him and seeing how these two characters grow and change. I really recommend this one, especially if you are a fan of dark reads.
