A new stand alone office romance from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…
I’ve always had one rule:
Don’t mix business and pleasure.
But then Landon Wright comes home to his family’s construction company with a broken back and a beaten heart and ends up as my new sexy boss. As the office gets heated, I’m thinking about throwing the rulebook out the window.
If only there weren’t a million reasons this could never work.
We may have shared a single perfect kiss, but I can’t let our intense connection cloud my judgment. Not with everything I’ve worked for on the line.
Dating your boss is so very, very wrong…even if he feels so Wright.
This was a good follow-up to the Wright series. The book takes place soon after book one. And even has a parallel timeline at times too. That was real fun for me. To see the same night from a different point of view. I really enjoyed it!!
This is Landon’s story, and boy is it crazy! He is crazy about a girl and it isn’t about his wife, Miranda either. It’s his ex’s best friend Heidi. *gasp* scandalous I know! Haha, jk it’s more mellow than that! In fact, the only obstacle they face is more from themselves. Heidi is totally against being with Landon (silly girl) for one reason or another. And I get it, no way did it look good on paper for these two! But sometimes love just don’t give a F! It wants what it wants and there’s not running from it.
This story started out a little slow for me but somewhere along 35% I got drawn into the easy steady flow of it. When these two come together… holy shit it’s magical! They have such a strong bond and connection that it was beautiful to watch them coming together. I just loved these two. They were both such good people who just got dealt a few shitty hands. Love heals all things.
I recommend this series to anyone who’s ever wanted the perfect man. Cause let’s face it, Landon’s a dream!
