Get ready for the darker and dirtier side of New Orleans with a brand new alpha romance from USA Today bestselling author Meghan March.
New Orleans belongs to me.
You don’t know my name, but I control everything you see—and all the things you don’t.
My reach knows no bounds, and my demands are always met.
I didn’t need to loan money to a failing family distillery, but it amuses me to have them in my debt.
To have her in my debt.
She doesn’t know she caught my attention.
She should’ve been more careful.
I’m going to own her. Consume her. Maybe even keep her.
It’s time to collect what I’m owed.
Keira Kilgore, you’re now the property of Lachlan Mount.
*Ruthless King is book one of the Mount Trilogy*
Oh my stars, Lachlan Mount was just divine! Everything about him was fantastic. His name, his suits, his bedroom behavior. Oh sweet baby Jesus his bedroom antics were by far the sexiest Ms. March has written, and I’ve read & met most of her delicious men.
And we all know every King needs his Queen, and Keira was definitely a force to be reckoned with. Between you and me, I think Lachlan loved the fire and hell she threw at him. I think it turned him on and got his blood boiling like no other woman he has ever met.
I’ve read a lot by this fabulous writer and she is definitely one of my all time favorite authors. I’ve loved all of her books, don’t get me wrong but there was just something about Lachlan Mount that made my hormones go into overtime.

Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she’s ever had. She loves hearing from her readers at email@example.com.
Lovely review and I was curious about what you thought of this one. I liked it for the most part, but I have a feeling this is a series that should be read one right after the other. I liked the character and the hot times but I felt it was lacking in the romance department. *crossing fingers* that is where books 2 and 3 come in. But I still enjoyed it quite a bit and can’t wait for book two to come out. Is it November yet?? LOL
