If one door closes and another one opens,
your house is probably haunted.

As a Part-time PI and fulltime grim reaper, Charley Davidson has asked a lot of questions throughout her life: Why can I see dead people? Who is the hot supernatural entity following me? How do I get gum out of my sister’s hair before she wakes up? But, “How do I trap not one malevolent god, but three?” was never among them. Until now. And since those gods are on earth to kill her daughter, she has little choice but to track them down, trap them, and cast them from this dimension.

There’s just one problem. One of the three stole her heart a very long time ago. Can the Razer, a god of absolute death and destruction, change his omniscient spots, or will his allegiances lie with his brothers?

Those are just a few of the questions Charley must answer, and quick. Add to that a homeless girl running for her life, an innocent man who’s been charged with murdering the daughter of a degenerate gambler, and a pendant made from god glass that has the entire supernatural world in an uproar, and Charley has her hands full. If she can manage to take care of the whole world-destroying-gods thing, we’re saved. If not, well…

After a short amnesiac vacation Charley Davidson is back to her old tricks. Fun news!!! She has even picked up new ones since we got a boatload of new characters and unique personalities to work with… you know angels and demons.

I really don’t know how Darynda keeps everything straight while further complexing the story (all good!).

There is quite a lot of news and revelations as the whole picture being put together piece by piece. With each book we learn more, and most of that time that MORE breaks my heart.

There is also a bit of a learning curve since the amnesiac vacation with Charley & Reyes. I feel like all that happens in this book truly tests their love for each other. This is their best book yet… in my eyes.

I have listened/read this book. Because while Lorelei King is the goddess of narration for this series I also wanted to read.

I was one like that… then I was like well let me try to do the audiobook for this series because there was already so many books published. I’m telling you if you enjoy audiobooks start this series with it. The Narrator – Lorelei King is AMAZING! They could not have picked a better person to voice the MC.
