This book sent me on a ride to read more books by this author. I just fell so deeply in love with Zack and Sugar’s story and the author’s writing style really made me crave more. 

I love the “fake” relationship genre and this one was slightly different but still checked all my boxes. I loved both of the main characters and also the supporting ones. I hope everyone gets their own book, like it needs to happen! Please make it happen, Ms. Madden-Mills!!

Zack or “Z” as everyone called him was the all star golden boy of his school’s hockey team.  He is so good and set for stardom that an NHL team has already signed him and is just waiting for him to finish college. But there’s something his team and NHL doesn’t know about him, and it could ruin everything. 

Sugar gosh she was as sweet as her name is. I know she can come off prickly but I liked it and it was really working for her. She’s got a lot going on in her life, but she’ll be damned if she lets it break her. What she needs is a hot all star hockey player, and only one will do. So this begins the game of stalking said all star player. 

Both Sugar and Z had their own issues to work through. And then they had issues as a couple to work out as well. Throw in some hilarious moments, jealous ex’s and a good dose of college angst and you have the recipe for one sexy, awesome delicious treat. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to remember back to their college days and those awesome frat parties.
