GOSH I LOVED THIS SERIES!!!!
It was so well done and relatable and funny and I really liked the six short books. Chloe and Patrick had a very long road to get to where they ended up. I think the other good thing about having the separate books is that it conveyed the passage of time very well. It was believable and didn’t feel like insta-love (even though I’m fine with that if it’s done well). The issues with friends, family, and career were all things that happen in daily life. Even though some of the characters were really getting on my last nerve I wasn’t frustrated or annoyed because it was true to life. People don’t always respond the way you think they will to things. People make decisions and do things sometimes from the heart but they can still be extremely hurtful. People can be so caught up in their own stuff that they don’t realize what they are doing to those around them and some people could give two poots about how their actions effect others. Most importantly at some point in life you have to decide what is important to you and what matters the most and you have to work at it and fight for it. I thought this was a wonderful story of fighting for what you want.
These books are only .99 each and I honestly did not expect the quality to be so high with a price that low. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes a well thought out romance with plenty of drama and love and life. I can’t wait to read more books by Nina Perez.
