This was just what I needed to read when I needed to read it. I’ve been reading some heavier stuff recently and have been looking for that next read that had a little bit of everything in it, and a lot of humor. THIS WAS IT!!!

Dominic was the hugest most arrogant asshole in life! EVER! I mean he was beyond douche-tastic at times, he was just straight up mean and wrong! And yeah you guessed it, I would totally have his babies! He was so freaking HOT!!! I loved Bronagh more than anyone else in this book. She had a sad back story as is usually the case and she retreated into keeping to herself and trying to keep everyone at a distance. Despite that — though there were times where I felt so awful for her and her difficulties or insecurities — she was in no way a shy wallflower. This chick packed a punch, literally at times, lol! She and her sister definitely have some violent tendencies!!! I also loved that!!! Most of the comedy came from Bronagh in this one.

The other Slater brothers… H-O-T!!!! I really didn’t expect to like this as much as I did. Now I am looking forward to their stories and seeing how some of the pieces we were given in this one for them work themselves out. Especially with Damien!!! The story has humor, underground fighting, heart, steam, crime, and drama. AKA – a definite formula for awesomeness!!!

(It’s also available to borrow from the lending library if you have Amazon Prime and are not sure about it like I was…)
