Natalie walked over to stand behind the camera, instantly overwhelmed by all the buttons and settings. Way more technical than the point and shoot she used to have.

Mitch came to stand beside her, showing her how to change a dizzying array of settings. He had Natalie take test shots to compare how things looked as she played around.

“Let’s get to the good part,” she said, when it looked like Mitch planned to spend the whole hour lecturing on photography techniques.

“Want to jump right in, eh?”

“I’ll learn as we go. Now get over there.” Natalie pointed to the white wall the camera was facing.

Mitch headed over, standing with his legs apart, hands by his sides, not smiling. Natalie peeked through the viewfinder and took a shot and then reviewed it on the screen. He looked like he was about to face a firing squad.

“You look angry.”

“I told you, photographers don’t make the best subjects.”

“You’re supposed to relax and look unguarded,” she reminded him. When he rolled his eyes, she said, “Easier said than done, isn’t it, Mr. Photographer?” She took a few more shots, trying to cajole him into a more natural pose, but it wasn’t working.

“Maybe it’d be easier for me if you took your clothes off,” Mitch said.

Natalie stepped out from behind the camera to give him a quick glare before pulling her lightweight sweater over her head, followed by her camisole.

Mitch’s expression quickly went from surprised to heated, and he started to cross the room toward her.

“Uh-uh,” she said. “Get back into position.”

After a few more shots, when she wasn’t getting any better results, Natalie stepped back and pulled off her bra, pants, and underwear. If seeing her totally naked didn’t get a reaction out of him, she’d need to start going to the gym.

Mitch cleared his throat, but his voice was still husky when he said, “I think we can finish the lesson tomorrow.”

“No way. We’ve got thirty minutes left, and I intend to use every one of them.”

“So do I,” he said, his eyes dark with sensual promise.
