About Electrified:

Everyone knows her as Sienna Flower.

Her curves and long lashes tease and taunt from her very own billboard where the desert meets the Las Vegas Strip. She’s the hottest stripper in town, known for her sultry and indecent moves coupled with her virginal eyes.

She’s a heady and unique combination, and a mystery to all who come to see her.

Sienna captivates crowds nightly at the Electric Tunnel, leaving them wanting to know more about the sensual enigma. But no one ever sees beyond the heavily guarded stripper onstage. She is Sienna Flower 24/7.

No one other than her closest friend and boss, Asher Peterson, who helped turn a young and frightened girl into who Sienna is today. Together they created the sexual illusion known as Sienna Flower. They will go to any lengths to protect her image, which is why Sienna is convinced she must remain unattached and alone.

Like everyone else in Vegas, Sienna is hiding something and playing a role. A good girl in her former life, she was raised to be obedient and accepting of her fate, but there are some circumstances no one should be expected to accept. She escaped to a world light years away from the one she was subjected to…the Electric Tunnel.

Now she can never be anything other than Sienna Flower. Not only would she be hurt, but everyone around her would suffer the consequences.

That is, until she meets private detective Carson Graham, the dark and mysterious ex-FBI agent who watches her dance every weekend. With his dark hair and chocolate-brown eyes, Carson begins to heat Sienna’s heart and body, melting away the layers and secrets. Sienna doesn’t want to get attached to Carson, but when another man surfaces and starts hunting her down, bringing out the scars of her old life, she can’t help but seek comfort in Carson’s protection.

With everyone trading on the secrets of her past, Sienna finds herself caught in an awful web of lies. Her ultimate fear is hurting her friends at the Tunnel, but she doesn’t know who to trust. Namely, Carson. Is he good? Or bad? Does she have the luxury of finding out?

***My rating: 4 Tingling Electric Current Stars
This was the first book by this author that I’ve read. I really enjoyed the way she pulls you into the story bit by bit. You first meet Sienna while she is getting ready to go one stage ( take it off honey, oww oww), however can’t pull her blue eyes away from a tall dark sexy man, a man she has seen at the Electric Tunnel a few times now. She has asked around about him, and can’t explain why she is so drawn to him. She performs 7 nights a week for a plethora of handsome, horny men and never has she felt this way before. To saw Carson (our tall glass of water) feels the same pull as Sienna would be a huge understatement. Man is smitten with our beautiful vixen, and at first it angers him. Why her? He has gone almost 40 years without wanting more than a quickie from a woman. He tries time and time again to meet different women to work off his built up sexual need he has after watching Sienna dance for the past few weekends. But, unfortunately, our ex- FBI agent has got it bad for the erotic dancer.

Carson was just the bee’s knees!! I love how he comes to terms with his feeling for Sienna early on, and decide to explore those feelings rather than running away kicking and screaming because he is scared. He knows Sienna is not how she portrays herself on stage, this confident, overly sexual nymph. But instead she is quite, reserved, and enjoys unwinding with a cup of hot tea instead of glass of wine or cocktail. He takes his time getting to know Sienna and taking her on dates, pleasuring her rather than just hump and dump, which is what his old game plan was. When they finally get to the GOOOOOD stuff, it was magical, fireworks, hearts and flowers and all that jazz!! Sienna has never had a good relationship or sexual encounter before Carson, and being with Carson has just blown her mind, among other things. *snicker*

As the story develops you learn that Carson and Sienna’s paths were always destined to cross at one point or another. I won’t spoil it for you babies, but it’s defiantly a small world type of thing. What I really enjoyed in this book and that there was no extra angst added to the story line. They talked through their problems, they never pushed each other away, and they felt what they felt and didn’t try to over think it to death. It was refreshing to read about a couple who truly just enjoyed being together, and figuring out what’s next together. Carson couldn’t explain why it was Sienna who he broke all his rules for, but he stopped trying figure that out after their first date. *swoon* I really enjoyed this author series, and will defiantly be keeping my eye out of future books from her.

About Rachel Blaufeld:

Rachel BlaufeldRachel Blaufeld is a social worker/entrepreneur/blogger turned author. Fearless about sharing her opinion, Rachel captured the ear of stay-at-home and working moms on her blog, BacknGrooveMom, chronicling her adventures in parenting tweens and inventing a product, often at the same time. She has also blogged for The Huffington Post, Modern Mom, and StartupNation. Turning her focus on her sometimes wild-and-crazy creative side, it only took Rachel two decades to do exactly what she wanted to do—write a fiction novel. Now she spends way too many hours in local coffee shops plotting her ideas. Her tales may all come with a side of angst and naughtiness, but end lusciously. Rachel lives around the corner from her childhood home in Pennsylvania with her family and two dogs. Her obsessions include running, coffee, icing-filled doughnuts, antiheroes, and mighty fine epilogues.
