I finished this book a few days ago and I’m still thinking about it. This was my first read from this author, but soon added all her books to my TBR list and I can not wait for book two in this series.
This is the story of one girl’s struggle to move to the big city and find herself after a huge breakup. She soon meets Blake, her good friend’s moody artistic brother. And he also just so happens to be her new roommate. Their being an intense love hate relationship an over the weeks they get to know each other they realize they have an insane sexual attraction to each other. But it can only be sex.. Right?
During Blake and Lila’s on again off again hotness she gets her dream job and her boss just so happens to be drop dead gorgeous CEO Pierce. And Mr. Hottie CEO has his eyes set on Lila as well.
There was so much angst and back and forth banter between this ridiculously hot triangle. I can’t even call it a love triangle just that all threes of these people are dealing with their own demons, some worse off then others. I was rooting for both men at one point and for two completely different reasons.
And then there’s the ending… God that f*cking ending!!!!! I just don’t understand why it had to end that way. I truly have no idea what the rest of the series holds but I need it right meow!! I highly recommend this series to anyone who love moody hot dirty talking man. A sexy, smart, CEO.
