ARC Review: Beautiful Secret (The Beautiful Series) by Christina Lauren

Imagine my excitement when I opened my mail to find this beauty from Gallery books via The Reading Room waiting for me…

Beautiful Secret is the latest story in The Beautiful Series by authors Christina Lauren. While you could definitely read these books out of order and as standalones I have no idea why you would choose to do so.

This is the story of Niall Stella… you heard me right a “Stella” man! Mmmm, Max will always be my most favorite and if you haven’t met him yet you absolutely must!!! But Niall, Niall, he was a sweet, controlled, conflicted, gentle giant. He is also the object of Ruby’s unrequited love. When the story begins Niall is absolutely oblivious to Ruby and through a fortunate turn of events the two end up in close quarters for an extended period of time.

What happens next is an absolutely erotic and intimate fall down the rabbit hole. This book had some of the HOTTEST scenes and there wasn’t even penetration involved!!! It will leave you panting and at times it will hit you in the feels pretty damn hard. Niall has gone through an awful divorce and while he can see that Ruby is different, makes him feel different, and is good for him he struggles to let the past go. While Ruby struggles to juggle the double standards of their industry and figure out if he is worth the trouble.

It’s not a clear cut HEA and at times you are not sure if they will be able to work through the way others have influenced their relationship or the unintentional hurts that they cause each other.

Definitely a solid, hot, read!
