house mate_amazonWhat’s sexier than a bad boy? A bad ass man who’s got his shit together.

Max Alexander is nearing thirty-five. He’s built a successful company, and he’s conquered the professional world, but he’s never been lucky in love. Focusing so much time on his business and raising his daughter, adulting has come at the expense of his personal life.

His social skills are shit, his patience is shot, and at times, his temper runs hot.

The last thing he has time for is the recently single, too gorgeous for her own good young woman he hires to take care of his little girl. She’s a distraction he doesn’t need, and besides, there’s no way she’d be interested. But you know what they say about assumptions?

This is book 3 in the Roommates series, but each book can be read as a complete standalone as they all feature new couples to fall in love with.

This is the third installment to Kendall Ryan’s Roommates series. Much like the first two it didn’t disappoint. You do not need to read these books in order, they are about a new couple with in each book. This was the story of Max and Addison. And what a beautiful love story it was.

Max is a new dad to his 1-year-old daughter. He had no idea she even existed, much less how to be a dad in the first place. He knows he needs help and only the best will do, enter Addison. Addison has always had a knack with children. She has always worked with them in some way or another. And she has always dreamed of being a teacher. The bond between Addison and Max’s daughter Dylan forms very quickly and soon the three of them establish a routine that works for them.

Max has never been a relationship kind of guy and he isn’t sure if he is cut out for the life even now, but with Addison it almost seems effortless and he finds himself wanting more with Addison. While Addison really does enjoy her time with Max she is a little gun shy to get into another relationship (her last ones didn’t end so well). I really enjoyed watching these two fall in love. It came easy to them and soon found themselves as a family of three.

I hope this series continues. I’m excited to see what other kind of Roommate games Ms. Ryan has in store for us. I recommend this book to anyone’s who’s ever seen a DILF and wonderered hmmm….
