Vi Keeland never disappoints in delivering a perfectly angsty romance with a laugh. Bennett Fox and Annalise O’Neil created a fantastic couple who crossed some boundaries professionally to find their happily ever after. While both characters had their tortured past that gave to some bad habits in the present, Bennett definitely wins the first place. Which is okay to say since they are both super competitive and why shouldn’t they be as they are both top in their field and must now compete to maintain their status quo.
Annalise‘s Type A personality only lent for a wittier banter when in presence of Bennett, whose approach is all bull in a china shop. In the end they make a perfect yin-yang combo.
So if you are a fan of forbidden work place romance trope, comedic scenarios, angsty & slow burning romance, or just general fan of Vi Keeland then I highly recommend picking up your copy of this new release.
