Kris’s 4 Bean Review:
I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this book. When we left Logan and Maxx in book 2 they were not really talking things through. Both of them were acting scared and there was a great deal of… hmm… bitchassness going on. This book picked up where that one left off but thank the Lord for Luke and dare I even say Tony! I really loved how Ms. Neal weaved these two voices of reason into the story and pointed out to Logan and Maxx what they were and were not doing and what they needed to do in order to give the relationship a try if that was what they were wanting.
I was very happy that the lack of communication did not go on for an extended amount of time. Some of the areas that they “fought” about or got jealous about were a bit “eh” but overall it made sense, it was a hot read, and I am definitely invested in these characters and want to see how and if they get their HEA. I also hope that we get more sexy time in the next books because when these two do get together it is fireworks and panty melting hot. Overall, a 4.5 bean read for me.
Just when Logan Kellar was finally ready to make some changes in his life, his entire world was flipped upside down. Now the pain he is used to burying is fighting back. Refusing to let him slip into his old ways, refusing to let him hide from his mistakes, and refusing to let him become numb.
