Blurb

She’s about to make a deal with the college bad boy…

Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she’s carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush’s attention, she’ll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice…even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.

…and it’s going to be oh so good

All Garrett Graham has ever wanted is to play professional hockey after graduation, but his plummeting GPA is threatening everything he’s worked so hard for. If helping a sarcastic brunette make another guy jealous will help him secure his position on the team, he’s all for it. But when one unexpected kiss leads to the wildest sex of both their lives, it doesn’t take long for Garrett to realize that pretend isn’t going to cut it. Now he just has to convince Hannah that the man she wants looks a lot like him.

“For the love of God, I’m not tutoring you.”
“Sure you are.” I shrug. “I just need to figure out what you want in return.”
“I want to not tutor you. That’s what I want.”

As soon as I read the blurb of this book, I knew it would be up my alley. This book was amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was just so funny and entertaining. I couldn’t get enough.

‘I burst into the locker room and —
Penises!
Sweet Jesus.
Penises everywhere.
Horror slams into me as I register what I’m seeing. Oh God. I’ve stumbled onto a penis convention. Big penises and small penises and fat penises and penis-shaped penises. It doesn’t matter which direction I move my head because everywhere I look I see penises.’

The story is about a young woman in college named Hannah, who is still getting over something life altering that happened in her past. Despite that big event in her life, Hannah is pretty tough and has a good sense of humour. She has great friends that surround her, is passionate about her music, and very intelligent. This is where Garrett, a star college hockey player, comes into the picture. After he realizes that Hannah got an A in a class he is struggling in, he decides she will be his tutor so he can keep playing hockey. Unfortunately, Hannah wants nothing to do with him, she is busy as it is and all she has eyes for is the new guy who plays Football named Justin. But, Garrett is not one to give up, so he will do whatever it takes to get her to tutor him, even help her land the guy she has been crushing on.

“You won’t let anything bad happen to me, will you, Garret?”
“Never.”

I can’t stress enough how much I loved this book. It seemed to have everything that I love in a story. But what I really liked about it was how much I loved the heroine, which doesn’t happen too often unfortunately. Hannah was the best. I loved that they start off as “friends”, well sort of. Hannah wants to get Justin’s attention, so she accepts Garrets offer of help in order to get it. I loved the banter between these two from the start. There was such great chemistry that made things very interesting. Garret wasn’t looking for anything serious, and neither was Hannah. They were both just supposed to be temporary, but as time goes by, the closer they become, and the stronger their feelings for each other get.

‘There’s no one better than him. Garret is the best man I’ve ever known. And not just because he’s smart and sexy and funny and so much sweeter than I ever gave him credit for. He makes me feel alive.’

I can keep gushing about how much I really liked the story, Hannah, and the sexy Garrett, all day. But I don’t want to do that to you, so, I will say that you really should give this book a try. It had some great laughs and great characters that make you wish you had them as friends in real life. There were some serious issues in this book that were handled really well. I liked that even though those issues were in this, it didn’t affect the tone of the book, it still for the most part remained light and enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong, it still hit me in the feels, but it didn’t become anything too heavy. And of course, there was some great steam in this book as well. The ending was perfect and sweet. I couldn’t nor wanted to put this book down. I was smiling so big for most of it. I highly recommend you give this book a read. I seriously can’t wait for Logan’s book. I’m keeping my fingers crossed Tucker gets one too.
