Tight muscles. Vibrant Ink.

Meet Mr. January. Winter’s never looked so hot …

Certified bachelor Reece Walker wants two things—to save the local bar he manages and to get Jenna Montgomery into his bed.

He has a few ideas for the bar. But Jenna . . . well, he’s going to have to rely on cold showers, because she’s been his best friend for years, and that’s a line he just can’t cross.

Until one wild kiss on a dark night changes everything. Now Reece is certain Jenna’s meant to be his.

And with long nights in bed, sensual caresses, and deep, lingering kisses, he sets out to thoroughly convince her that friends can be lovers, too.

**Down On Me is the first in a binge read series by New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Publishers Weekly, and #1 International bestselling author of the million copy Stark series, J. Kenner.

Each book in the series is a STANDALONE novel with NO cliffhanger and a guaranteed HEAT!

But even so, you won’t want to miss any in the series. Because then you can answer the question…

Who’s Your Man of the Month?

AVNOW

Whoa! The series starts off with an amazing start. There is much to the world that J. Kenner is trying to build for this series. However, hold on, don’t get overwhelmed by all the characters that get introduced. I did and sooo happy I did too! If you are a lover of friends-to-lovers trope then this is standalone for you!

Reese Walkers is our standard bff and all around awesome guy who avoids commitment by doing a rotation of women in his bed. What is he compensating for? Well duh! His humongous crush on his bff, Jenna. Jenna who he had an awkward night with that came so close to spilling all the feelings. Jenna who is back again in town. Jenna who he can’t get out of his head. Jenna who needs to be much more than a friend.

There is some major drama at their beloved bar where Reese and bunch of HOT dudes work, occupy, and generally gravitate towards. So hot bunch to the rescue in individual ways to help save the beloved bar by running a monthly contest to attract the thirsty crowd (all puns intended). So while each book in the series will be centered around a couple, the central plot will be about ‘saving’ the bar.

Overall, it was a hot quick read and luckily I signed up for the entire series to review so I will not miss a chance to meet each man on the calendar. There is lots of spice, diversity, and lots of stories/tropes to explore, which I can’t wait for. Reese was yummy but who will be next to lure me to his side? I vote for Mr. April (only because it is my birth month).
