The author does the fantastic job of setting up this series in these 2 prequels of the GLOVES OFF Series.

These 2 novellas serve as an introduction course to the world of SEXY MMA Fighters and the women who SHOULD belong to them. These stories are filled with sex and commitment-phones.

A Fighter’s Desire – Part One (Gloves Off Book 1)

This was a favorite of the 2 novellas for me. The story starts off with 2 bad boy fighters who love a good time especially if it involves a TWIN tag team. Looking for their next good time the The Terror Twins, Ryley and Camden Jameson, stumble upon a feisty Ashleigh who just doesn’t want to do anything with then… but come on who can refuse a no strings attached fun ESPECIALLY when you make 2 hot guys drool over you and chase you.

My heart pounded and my clit tightened in anticipation, ready to feel what it would be like to be the object of a fighter’s desire.

That is exactly what Ashleigh does to the 2 fighters. This story works hard at being nonchalant hook-up but the too-much-chemistry factor muddles in and brings over ‘feelings’ to the party. Ashleigh start developing feelings for one of the fighters and he for her… Which one? hmmm well you just read and see. The ending totally floored me and made me scream at my kindle really loud because WTF… not a cliffhanger it’s simply a not a happy ending.

A Fighter’s Desire – Part Two (Gloves Off Book 2)

Second novella picks up shortly after the ending of Part 1 but the story focuses on Terror Twins’s & Ashleigh’s friend Gabriella Reynolds. Full time student, Part time MMA trainee, full time horny woman!

She has a HUGE problem in the form of overprotective Heavyweight champion brother. Fighting (literally too) to break through the restrictions that her brother set that put her on no-go list for all the fighters in the MMA world she decides to play reckless by pursuing her crush, MMA Heavyweight Champion Matt Reynolds, for some good time.

“I’m not like this, Gabriella. This is only for you. After you leave tomorrow I’m going right back to the way I was. The world isn’t going to stop for us. You and I both know that you deserve something better.”

I have enjoyed their story & it was MUCH hotter than the Part One novella. It set things up nicely for their story and didn’t end with such TOO much drama… perhaps I was prepared after how the Part One ended? I wasn’t that HEART-BROKEN… I managed.

As a whole I MORE than prepared for this series. It had just enough variety and interesting twists. Come on! Hot sweaty men, testosterone, secret trysts, angst, kick-ass women, and PERHAPS my favorite plot line. If you know ME… you know what it is…. *HINT* its a thing you wait 9 months to come… *evil grin*
