Let me start off by saying that I’m in a major book with drawl after finishing this book. I haven’t read a book like this in a really long time. I loved everything about this book. Just when I thought it was going to be another so so steamy read, it turned out to be so much more. There’s this part at the beginning of the story that completely made me stop and take notice of this book. I had no idea he would be the one who bought her.

Oh my god I can’t even describe how amazing this book was!! It was so freaking hot. Well written. And I loved loved how adult both characters were. Drama is natural in life but I think we forget sometimes that we don’t need to go bat shit crazy along with it. Evie and Logan has things they had to work out, but neither one took it over the top. Evie gave Logan time to discuss his past when it came to an ex. And I remember read that part and just nodding along cause that’s exactly what a calm level headed person would say. Don’t get me wrong, I  love drama, but sometimes I forget that it’s ok to react in a rational manner.

And holy moly the way this book ended?!? OMG can we can cliffhanger???? I kept trying to swipe my kindle to see if I had more pages to read! Ahhhh the horror of waiting till spring of 2015???!? NOOOOOOOOOO. Someone come find me when book 2 is released. I’ll be under my rock giving up on life till book two is in my paws. I recommend this book to everyone!! Well everyone who loves sex, hot sexy alpha men, awesome females. Oh and who is 18+ cause the sex in this book is so damn hot and so frequent it’s like a revolving door that just keeps giving one hot sex scene after another!!! Cha Ching!!!

Casting isn’t easy for me. Sometimes I have a character or two that I know immediately going in, but most of the time when writing I picture them as real people who don’t look like celebrities. But if I got to cast my book, here’s who I’d love to see in my super sexy “Three Simple Rules,” complete with character bios.

Evelyn “Evie” Russell

-A few years out of college and a graphic designer, who’s broke and desperate to succeed at her career.

-Evie’s abrasive, marathon-running boss, who demands perfection from his employees.

-Evie’s best friend and a professional escort, who doesn’t give a fuck what other people think.

Blake Haluson

-Evie’s college friend that she’s not-so-secretly been in love with, who isn’t single.

 

Nikki Sloane fell into graphic design after her careers as a waitress, a screenwriter, and a ballroom dance instructor fell through. For eight years she worked for a design firm in that extremely tall, black, and tiered building in Chicago that went through an unfortunate name change during her time there.
